Kemal Oğuz Kalafat
Dr. Kalafat is the co-founder of the American Turkish Business Development Council and served as its Vice President for four years. As a co-founder and managing partner of the OZman Group, he brings 15 years of experience in healthcare administration and the medical industry, in both the U.S. and Turkey.

Dr. Kalafat formerly worked as the medical director and as a primary care physician at several regional medical centers located in Turkey. As Medical Director, he managed operations, financial affairs, professional/support staff administration, service planning, patient care and quality improvement. Dr. Kalafat is also co-founder and managing partner of Oak Capital Ventures, a Boston-based firm which provides fiduciary investment services for developing partnerships among firms within the life-sciences industry. Dr. Kalafat obtained his M.D. from Turkey, his M.S. in Healthcare Administration from Boston University’s School of Public Health in the U.S., and he has participated in seminars, academic lectures and projects as part of the Healthcare Ethics Program at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. He is also author of several scientific and medical research publications and continues his medical practice and research.
